Drone Assisted was founded to solve a simple problem: enterprise clients — insurers, surveyors, property managers, emergency responders — need drone data on demand, at consistent quality, anywhere in the UK. That doesn't exist as a national service today. We're building it.
We're partnering with some of the UK's largest insurers to launch the network with real, recurring work from day one. Our founding pilots aren't waiting for a marketplace to bring them scraps — they're joining a network with dispatch, quality control and enterprise clients already in place.

How we're different
Drone Assisted is not an open marketplace. Every pilot is CAA-verified, insured to £5m+, reference-checked and quality-audited before they take their first job. That means the client gets consistent output regardless of which pilot flies — and pilots get to compete on skill, not on price alone.
Enterprise-grade, from day one
We built Drone Assisted around insurer requirements: documented risk assessments, structured deliverables, chain of custody on imagery, and clear liability. That same standard applies whether the job is a £250 residential roof inspection or a £5,000 multi-site industrial survey.
Where we operate
Coverage is UK-wide, with density in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Newcastle and Sheffield.
Compliance & credentials
- All operators hold CAA Operational Authorisation (GVC-qualified pilots), with training completed through a CAA approved training provider.
- Operator and Flyer IDs are held on the CAA drone and model aircraft register.
- All operators carry commercial public liability insurance to £5m minimum.
- Aligned with the professional standards promoted by industry body ARPAS UK.
