Example deliverables

See what a drone inspection can provide

Drone Assisted assignments can provide clear aerial imagery, annotated inspection evidence, thermal comparisons and structured reports according to the requirements of the job.

Annotated aerial roof inspection showing visible roof defects

Annotated inspection imagery

Clear aerial photographs can be marked to identify visible defects, areas requiring attention and evidence relevant to the customer brief.

Side-by-side visual and thermal aerial image of a residential roof

Visual and thermal comparison

Visual and thermal imagery can be captured together where the aircraft, sensor, environmental conditions and assignment requirements are suitable.

Illustrative redacted drone inspection report with photographs and findings

Structured reporting

Captured imagery and findings can be organised into a clear report or evidence pack for review by the customer or an appropriately qualified specialist.

Example formats shown for illustration. The scope, imagery, analysis and reporting supplied will depend on the assignment and agreed deliverables. Drone imagery does not automatically constitute a structural survey, engineering opinion or loss adjusting decision.

FAQ

Common questions

What is Drone Assisted?

Drone Assisted is a nationwide UK network of CAA-verified commercial drone pilots for inspections, surveys, insurance evidence, property maintenance and aerial imagery. Companies submit a brief and are matched to a verified pilot in their area.

Are Drone Assisted pilots CAA approved?

Pilots are checked against the requirements of the work they take on. We check identity and contact details, valid commercial drone insurance, CAA registrations where required, and job specific qualifications and authorisations, including an Operational Authorisation where the assignment requires one. Credentials are re-checked on renewal and no pilot flies with lapsed cover.

How much does it cost to hire a drone pilot through Drone Assisted?

Most single-property jobs sit between £150 and £600. Commercial inspections typically run £400–£1,200 and specialist work (thermal, LiDAR, mapping) is £500–£2,500+. Founding-member businesses lock in 10% off every flight for life.

How fast can you dispatch a pilot?

Standard bookings are usually filled within 2–5 working days. Emergency-response and same-day jobs can often be filled within hours depending on region.

Do you cover my area of the UK?

Drone Assisted is building a growing network of verified pilots across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Assignment availability depends on location, pilot capability, equipment, weather, airspace and the requirements of the job.
